Junior Aspirin Records is an artist-run record label formed by Andy Cooke, Dan Fox and Nathaniel Mellors. Its debut release was the single ‘3rd Disco from Home’ by the post-punk quartet Skill 7 Stamina 12 in 2002, and it is currently home to The God in Hackney, Socrates That Practices Music and Nathaniel Mellors’ solo recordings. The label’s back catalogue features recordings by The Rebel, Invisible Polytechnic, Advanced Sportswear, Dan Fox, Big Legs, Skill 7 Stamina 12, Charlottefield, Imitation Electric Piano, Mark Leckey, Sue Tompkins, Emily Wardill, Same Things, Adventure, Mysterius Horse, Toilet, Bob Parks, and DJ Scotch Egg.

The label was included in the exhibitions ‘Nought to Sixty’ at the ICA, London, in 2008; ‘Fun Palace’ in 2010 at the Centre Pompidou, Paris; the Performa Biennial 11, New York, in 2011, and ‘All the Instruments Agree’ at the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, in 2015. In 2013, the label undertook a short tour of China, documented by filmmaker Marcus Werner Hed.
